The Winery of Ellicottville makes quality wine from locally grown grapes.
The Winery of Ellicottville was inspired by Francesco Spicola (Dominic’s Father). Francesco, who immigrated from Italy in 1968, brought the wine making tradition with him. Year, after year, Francesco and Dominic would crush and press each harvest to make wine for the year. Each year Barrels of wine were crafted to perfection to ensure the family had a good supply.
Now, Dominic continues the wine making Tradition with his Son-In-Law Sam. Together they create the wines offered for tasting and for sale at the winery of Ellicottville. The wines are created with the careful consideration that Francesco used, combined with new world techniques that produce the Winery of Ellicottville’s award winning wines.
